2008 US - South Africa Young Leaders Summit

Community Club’s mission is to broaden our students’ educational and social awareness. In keeping with with mission, a group of Community Club students have been selected to participate in the US-South Africa Young Leaders Summit where they will develop youth leadership skills and instill a sense of community and global responsibility.

This is the third year that students in Community Club are attending the Young Leaders Summit. Their participation is supported, but is not funded, by the Community Club organization. The cost to send each student is about $4,000. The students, in partnership with a team of volunteer tutors and family dedicated to this project, are working to raise the funds to attend the Summit.
